Objective:
Students will use Dewey Decimal Classification and alphabetical order to organize the library collection.
Students will be able to interfile books so that order in the library is maintained.
Students will be able to assist patrons if the TL is delivering instruction.

The Lesson:
Students sign in for attendance purposes
Students log into Schoology to check assignments due for the day
Using their knowledge of DDC and alphabetical order, students organize the books that have to return to the collection
Students interfile books, making sure that order is preserved
Students check the shelves for books that have been misplaced
Students help patrons with book check-in/out, location of resources, and general inquiries
Assessment:
Shelves will be checked to make sure books have been interfiled correctly.
